This island condo has it all, located at 300 Gulf Shore Dr. Destin Florida, we are on the West end of Holiday Isle by the Jetties. This is an end unit on the top (3rd) floor, giving an great unobstructed view of the Gulf, Pass, Jetties, and sand dunes. The absolute best view of the entire complex, viewable from the den, master bed room, and private balcony. The balcony is accessable from the den or master bedroom. The large seasonally heated open air fresh water pool is just below you balcony. This small complex (30) units, is cozy, secluded, and romantically inviting. Snorkel just 200 yard away at the Jetties, where the local snorkeling tour boats end up. This area is ideal for swimming, sunning, and is a popular spot for mothers with small children, due to the protected waters by the Jetties (no undertoe, and wave surges). Farther down the Jetties, where the channel meets the gulf, is good fishing without having to charter a boat. The Gulf Beach is on the other side of the Jetties with all the wave action for the more adventurous. Crabbing is also a favorite night time activity along this area, as are moon light walks.
The condo is completely furnished with washer/dryer in the unit. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the guest bedroom has a full bed, and the sofa makes into a sleeper. The unit has resently been redecorated, and the complex had a million dollar rentovation completed Feburary 2005. All 4 stairways were replaced, all new huricane proof windows/ doors, necessary repairs, elevator facelift, restuco, painted, and pool enhancements. The pool area has a gulf view, with a sun deck, loungers, and BBQ grills for outdoor cooking.
