A short walk takes you to the shops, restaurants and daily market in traditional Uzumlu village.
The bustling port city of Fethiye is 17km away and can be reached by the regular Dolmus minibuses, or hire a car and the roads are excellent. The famous resort of Olu Deniz with its sheltered Blue lagoon and paragliding centre is a short distance from Fethiye as is Hisaronu with its lively night life.
