The beaches at El Portil and Nuevo Portil are stunning, the coast road has various good quality restaurants in prime positions overlooking the beach. There is an excellent golf course and spa facilities at the Cartaya Playa hotel within Nuevo Portil Campo De Golf. El Portil has a selection of shops, supermarkets and cafes and beach bars. El Rompido has much to offer with a pretty fishing village, tapas bars and good quality restaurants that open all year round.
Seville the capital of Andalucia, inspired Mozart, Rossini & Bizet. Operas like, Carmen & El Barbero de Sevilla were dedicated to this city. The city itself, hot in summer but mild in winter has numerous tapas bars & restaurants along the narrow streets. Seville's Fiestas are legendary but above all Sevilla is about atmosphere. It is busy, yet relaxed & friendly. Being out & about there on a warm balmy night is a never to be forgotten experience. |
