The Villa is located, as the name already indicates, between the mountains and the sea. The natural hilly property of 6.000 s. q. m has no direct neighbours. It lies about 10 km north of Faro, close to the picturesque Estoi, with a palace of the 18th Century. The Villa with its spacious terraces within almond-, fig- dive- and Cabot-trees offers you a breathtaking view of the Atlantic. Here you can find the traditional Portugal, away from mass-tourism, but nevertheless close to the nicest beaches and the best golf-courses. Close to the Villa you will find a small supermarket, where you can buy a few essentials. Around the corner there is a typical Portuguese restaurant, which we can recommend. Villa Monte e Mar has a living space of 250 sqm., and around the house there are various terraces, where everybody can find a special place for himself. The equipment and the furniture are very exclusive and the love for detail can be discovered in each room.
A central heating system and a fireplace in the living room will make you feel comfortable during the colder months. Therefore you can spend the winter at the Algarve without a problem. Please ask for special conditions. In front of the house there is a pool with a size of 5 x 10 m. Sunloungers, outdoor shower and garden furniture are available. Approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, with a cool breeze from the Atlantic during summer time and a mild spring-climate during winter – all this turns the “Algarve” in a favourite vacation spot all years round.
