In the heart of historic district of Ortygia (Syracusa) is the holiday accomodation Salomone, a stylish newly restored studio apartment in a beautiful ancient Palace (18th century) just a few steps away from piazza Duomo (the main square) and Aretusa Fountain.
Ideal for a couple or a family wanting a comfortable base close to bars and restaurants in one of the most beautiful towns in Sicily. Syracusa, awarded from UNESCO as world heritage, is also an ideal base from which to explore the south-eastern part of the island.

Turn the corner at the bottom of the Aretusa Fountain in Ortygia and you find yourself in a spacious and elegant street that leads to the sea. At the end of this street you'll find a beautifully restored 18th century Palazzo. Inside, the panoramic lift takes you to the first floor. At first floor spacious and charming apartments were completely renovated inside using precious local materials. You can choose between studio apartments and two room apartments.
Each apartment has a large living space with a fully equipped cooking and dining area, a sitting area with bed sofa, a bathroom with shower.
Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, satellite tv, hifi, microwave. On the second floor of the palace there is a self laundry available. The studio apartments have a sleeping area with a comfortable double bed, the two room apartments have a separate bedroom. All the apartments have large windows with balconies (some of these with the sea view on the side) or terraces.
