It's the ideal base from whitch to see some of the major sites of Tuscany. The railway station is only 3 km and the bus is 300 meters. The freeway is 3 km. A small market center and restaurants are 300 meters, every kind of store within 3 km. It is a 70sqm apartament, on two floors. Beds 4+2. O the ground floor the entrance, living-room, dining area, and the fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and forniture of the era, that has been totaly restored. The second bedroom is equipped with two single beds and furnished with items typical of the era. The large bathroom is equipped with the shower.
In 15 minutes by car you can reach: Lucca (enclosed totally by walls, the churches, the magnificent lucchesi villas); Montecatini Terme (spa town, golf, tennis, griffe shopping);
Collodi where the Park of Pinocchio is situated and Garzoni Villa. In 35 minutes you can reach:
Florence, with its historical artistic monuments and building, patrimony Unesco; Viareggio and the Versilia's beachs with their fine sand, known all over the world; Pisa with its famous Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli, patrimony Unesco, the Arno river; Livorno with the port. In 50 minutes you can reach: Carrara famous for its white marble and guarries; Approximately 1 hour by car: Garfagnana, rich of cultural, gastronomical, and mounainous region with many scenic drive landscaped traditions only in their kind; Abetone, characteristic skiing station of the Appennino; Volterra, famous for alabasters and the museums of the Etruscan civilization and Saint Gimignano.
