Trullo Rosa and Trullo Olivia are peacefully situated in the warm southern region of Puglia in the heel of Italy. In hilltop locations in their own grounds with fig, olive, almond and walnut trees with far reaching views over the Itria Valley. The trulli are unique to this region under the protection of UNESCO since 1996 and 'recognised as a cultural heritgage of universal value'. They are circular limestone dwelling houses with drystone conical roofs crowned by different shaped pinnacles.
Our trulli are situated a few miles south of Alberobello. They each have two double bedrooms and one twin (Trullo Olivia's twin beds can be zipped together to form a superking bed). Two shower rooms and fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. Superb private outdoor kidney shaped pools with sun terraces, gazebo, barbeque, shower and plenty of outdoor furniture.
The town of Alberobello has some 1500 trulli clustered together forming narrow cobbled streets and many excellent restaurants, bars and shops.
The Adriatic and Ioanian coasts are within easy reach.
