The residence is situated in the center of thel traditional village of Loutra in the municipality of Arkadi/Rethymnon. During the Venetian rule over Crete this village was owned by the aristocrat Mattheos Kallergis. Much of this atmosphere has been preserved, like picturesque narrow streets, arcades, a fountain with an Arab inscription and more. The village is situated in 12 km distance to Rethymnon and about 3 km to the sea and is surrounded by olive groves.
The residence is a building amidst of a small garden with flowers and trees. In from of the villa there is a swimming pool. On the ground floor is the living room with open fireplace, dining room, kitchen,telefon (coins), a grand piano and a bathroom with bathtub and washing machine.7 bedrooms,all with aircondition and private facilities in total in this villa for up to 17 guests and together with the house straight opposite - 4 bedrooms,aircondition,4 bathrooms for up to 8 - for in total a group of 25 persons
