Typical French cottage in a tiny hamlet of Palaizot, cmne Chissey-en-Morvan, department 71. Saone et Loire. All the accommodation is on the ground floor with only two steps. The cottage has beamed ceiling, woodburning stove, plus electric heating, comfortable furniture. The bedroom has a shower room adjoining. From the french windows in the lounge you can access the terrace. The garden is fully fenced and there is hard standing for the car. All that is necessary to make for easy living is supplied.
The area around the cottage is heavily wooded, where you are free to walk at will, with or without dogs, collect mushrooms in season, savour the pure air and the peace and quiet, a small stream runs through the hamlet, fishing is allowed, here and in the numerous lakes and streams that abound in the Morvan, the relative permit is very easy to acquire.
In the surround towns there are many interesting historic churches, hospices, monuments, Roman architecture, beatiful viewpoints etc, and of course being Burgundy, the vineyards and wine tasting.
