The rural vacation rental *Moulin de la Canne* (Cane mill) is originally a water mill, about 200 years old, where the farmers had their corn ground in earlier days.
Moulin de la Canne is situated at the end of a lane (cul-de-sac) just outside the small village of Cersot, near the medieval town of Buxy, 12 miles from Chalon-sur-Saône, halfway between Dijon and Lyon.
Across the bridge, on the other side of the river there is a sports field.
You can swim and fish in the river in the part of the river that has been dredged to a depth of 7 feet; children can play in the shallow river.
Moulin de la Canne consists of three separate holiday homes:
- 'Le Meunier': suitable for 8 people. Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Euro 460 - 550
- 'Le Moulin': suitable for 12 people. Four bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Euro 660 - 750
- 'L' Etable': suitable for 4 people. The smallest *gite*: 2 small bedrooms, 1 small bathroom. Euro 310 - 390. |
