O'Brians Cottage is full of character and has a real family atmosphere. House is within fifteen minutes by car of Victoria. Every morning you can wake up and see the pacific, however a lovely 10 min walk will take you to a near deserted beach, and the views you have of the Haro Strait and the San Juan Islands are breathtaking. The beach is perfect for Kayaking and sea fishing [although we havent been lucky yet!]
The house is approx 15mins from Elk lake, perfect for walking, fishing and biking. We are 10 mins from beautiful University grounds and gardens. Buchart Gardens is about 25 mins drive from our house, and around the same time from airport and ferries. We are 5 mins from the hi-ways to Sydney and 15 mins from the up-island. We are situated 7 mins from a very good public golf course [I play there, and you can use my clubs]. We are about 20-45 mins from all the major golf courses in town. There is a bus service that stops at the top of our street. We are about 5 mins drive from a mall and movie complex. to shopping and movie theatres. Quiet street; well landscped area. |
